Multi-Hex experiment...

After making a whole batch of the more basic Hexes it's a nice change of pace to make some more involved modules.

The latest addition started out as a happy little accident, but after some repair work it turned out good enough to be used. The shape of the field could have been less rectangular, but the rounded corners at least partially negate that. I think this module will be further detailed with some clump foliage to represent bushes...

To represent the wheatfield I used a long grass mat in a contrasting color. I intend to make more, preferably in different shapes and sizes. I also got a similar grass mat in a darker shade of green.

The new multi-Hex module alongside the rest of the Hexes. Note that due to the absence of the foundation layer of interlocking Hexes the pieces are not as neatly aligned as the could/should be.
